4th Transnational Meeting in Graz, Austria

On 1–2 October 2026, the eduPED project consortium convened at Technische Universität Graz (TU Graz) in Austria for its 4th Transnational Meeting.

Over the course of two days, the project partners engaged in collaborative sessions focused on key thematic pillars and technical work packages shaping the project’s development, including:

  • Project Management & Coordination: Aligning progress, deliverables, and upcoming milestones.

  • PED Morphologies: Strategies for Positive Energy District integration in urban regeneration and building refurbishment.

  • Energy Efficiency & Climate Adaptation: Solutions for sustainable building performance and thermal resilience.

  • Renewable Energy & Smart Flexibility: Optimizing local renewable production and energy flexibility solutions.

  • Digital Twins for Smart PEDs: Leveraging virtual models to support district-scale energy monitoring and decision-making.

  • Stakeholder Engagement & Impact: Conducting simulations across climate scenarios, energy performance, and user comfort to ensure meaningful adoption.

  • Dissemination & Exploitation: Enhancing project visibility, communication pathways, and IPR management.

A key highlight of the meeting was a guided tour of the Campus Tour Living Lab Graz, led by TU Graz’s Facility Management team. The visit allowed partners to gain firsthand insight into a functioning living lab and exchange operational experiences on sustainable campus development.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Technische Universität Graz for hosting the event, as well as to all partner organizations for their active contributions and dedication toward advancing energy-efficient and climate-resilient urban districts.
