On 4–5 June 2026, the eduPED project was proudly represented at the NEXT BUILT Conference, hosted in the magnificent Palazzo Magnani, a remarkable late-Renaissance landmark in Bologna, Italy.
The conference brought together researchers, practitioners, and innovators to discuss the future of the built environment, sustainability, and digital transformation. We were honored that eduPED Coordinator, Rizal Sebastian, contributed to the event as a Key Lecture speaker, sharing valuable insights on innovation and sustainability in the built environment sector.
The eduPED project was also represented through the paper presentation entitled “Energy Flexibility Assessment in Educational Campuses: Insights from the Romanian eduPED Living Lab”, presented by Tania Rus. The presentation highlighted research outcomes from the Romanian Living Lab, demonstrating how educational campuses can contribute to energy flexibility and support the transition towards more sustainable and resilient energy systems.
Participating in NEXT BUILT provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen international collaboration, and showcase eduPED’s ongoing contributions to advancing sustainable and energy-efficient educational environments.
